MAHWAH, N.J., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Land Rover is proud to announce that the new LR4 has been named the All-Around SUV category in Bloomberg's first-ever Car of the Year. The LR4 beat out 20 sport utility and crossover vehicles to win in its class.
To qualify for Bloomberg's Car of the Year, models must be new or significantly revised for model year 2010, and be on sale by the first quarter of 2010. The selectees were evaluated by Bloomberg Auto Columnist Jason Harper in terms of overall performance, intelligent design and smart style, desirability and build quality.
